Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0
There does not appear to be any keybaord shortcut for closing tabs in Thunderbird. The standard for Windows is CTRL-F4, which works correctly in Firefox but not in Thunderbird.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a tab
2. Try to close it using CTRL-F4 (or your OS's equivalent)
3. Cry
Actual Results:
Nothing happens
Expected Results:
Tab should close

Does Ctrl+W not work? It does for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091216 Shredder/3.1a1pre. Let me see if there is a dupe...

Ah, yes, CTRL-W does work. I'd still like to see CTRL-F4 work as I believe that is the windows standard (or was? I've been using it successfully since the Win95 days, maybe even Win3.1 but my memory is hazy on that).
Apologies if this is a dupe, I did every search I could think of and didn't come up with anything.
