-  As long as the user HOVERS over the 'Today Pane' button in the toolbar, Lightning should display the 'Today Pane' (as popup, or with transparency, ...), and as soon as the user STOPS hovering, Lightning should make the 'Today Pane' disappear, like ReminderFox  http://reminderfox.mozdev.org/

-  Each time the user CLICKS on the 'Today Pane' button in the toolbar, Lightning should keep its current behavior :  Toggle the static display of the 'Today Pane'.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Hover over the 'Today Pane' button in the toolbar
2.  Stop hovering

Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
-  As long as the user HOVERS over the 'Today Pane' button in the toolbar, Lightning should display the 'Today Pane' (as popup, or with transparency, ...),

-  As soon as the user STOPS hovering, Lightning should make the 'Today Pane' disappear.


This issue could perhaps be merged with :

-  Make Today Pane toolbar button image more i18n-friendly  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393763

-  Respond to user feedback concerning the Today-pane location switch  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404681

This sounds like a good idea, but I think it makes more sense as an extension. Marking WONTFIX for core calendar. Not all calendar users will want this behavior, so I think we should keep it out of the core.
