User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.1; InfoPath.2) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows, U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0 When creating a new email you begin to enter the name/email address of the receiver and the system brings up a list of possible email addresses. Unfortunately, they are not in the order entered into the address book -- they are in alphabetic order. If you have two email addresses for someone -- a primary and an alternative -- the alternative email address will be listed if it sorts higher alphabetically. The primary email address should be first. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create contact with primary and alternative email address where the alternative sorts higher that the primary. 2. Create new email message 3. Beginning typing the receiver's name Actual Results: Alternative email address is first. Expected Results: Primary email address should be first. Primary email address should b first.
For information, this is still here in the 20091227 trunk release. This is a regression from Thunderbird 2.x, by the way.
