Same problem as bug 301808?
Cobaltool do you agree to comment #1? It's a dupe (do you forward mail from local folders)?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100227 Thunderbird/3.0.3 I have the same problem. Manual filter with forward in local folders give "Sending of message failed." Tb 3.0.2 Russian has this bug too.
(In reply to comment #3) > Manual filter with forward in local folders give "Sending of message failed." > Tb 3.0.2 Russian has this bug too. Oh, "Manual filter of Local Folders" case... Can next be a workaround? (1) Define a dummy POP3 account. (A main identity can be defined for the account. So, a SMTP server or default SMTP can be associated to main identity of the dummy POP3 account.) (2) Use the dummy POP3 account instead of "Local Folders" as "Global Inbox" owner of other POP3 accounts. Above is for: - Never use pseudo account of "Local Folders", who can't have associated identities, as Global Inbox owner. - If pseudo account of "Local Folders" is not used as Global Inbox owner, (use "Local Folders" as account to import mail folders/mails only) there is no need to run "filter of forward" for folder of "Local Folders".
>Can next be a workaround? Yes, it works.
(In reply to comment #3) > Manual filter with forward in local folders give "Sending of message failed." Yuri, does it mean "if filter upon download, filter of foward works even if Local Folders"?
Summary: filter forward to another email not operate → filter forward to another email not operate (psuedo account of "Local Folders", manual filter run)

WADA, is there any reason why this bug is not confirmed? This issue has not been showing up on my radar, but it seems fixable to me.
(In reply to comment #7) > WADA, is there any reason why this bug is not confirmed? Simply because I didn't do duplicatin test yet then I didn't see phenomenon of this bug. I'm not Global Inbox user.
I was able to duplicate this.

>Yuri, does it mean "if filter upon download, filter of foward works even if Local Folders"? sorry,i don't understand your question well. I said that the filter forward not operate always on default account 1.create a filter with actions==forward 2.manual apply this filter 3.get error. I define second account, apply filter and get not error. First time i has decided problem is solved, but later error messages return in another way. Steps to reproduce: 1. Put many (>20) mails to second account's folder. 2. Apply filter with action set to forward. 3. Wait some time 4. Get a lot error mesage "Sending of message failed" Step 4 is reproduced sometimes. Part of mails are forwarded, rest rise error message. Part is 0-100%. It seems that decreasing mail's quantity in folder and disabling KAV antivirus rise success probability. Viewing avi in media playr classic rise fail probability.
This is a problem for me still and i havent found a soultion for it. When i create this filter via Local folders or primary account, i get the same error message.
Using Arch Linux, with Xfce 4.8, Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110307 Lanikai/3.1.9. Tried without add-ons enabled. No matter what is done, no email will forward with the filter mechanism. Obviously flawed.
