when replying to/forwarding an email i am unable to see the body of the email.

When replying to/forwarding an email i am unable to see the body of the email. This problem occurred after i upgraded to thunderbird 3.0. Never had the issue in the previous versions.
Reproducible: Sometimes

Can you do a few things :
1) start thunderbird in -safemode and let us know if this still happens.
2) screenshot of your issue ?

adel, if you still see this problem using v3.1.x, please attach the message as .eml file to this bug
