Can you save the email in question in .eml format using File -> save. Come back to this page and use the add attachment link to give us the email causing the issue ? Does it work better if you start Thunderbird in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) ?
Hi, i have tryed Safe mode, but doesen work for the bug.# I Also have updatet to Thunderbird 3.01, same result. I have found out, that not all email from incredibmail cause the error. I am using TB 3.0.1 with Comcast on a Win2K machine. When I type in a new (blank) email, the cursor moves but nothing appears. The bug seems to be in the "Variable Width" setting. Before I start typing, if I change "Variable Width" to "Times" I am then able to see what I'm typing. Unfortunately, the problem also exists in all my sent mail, because it was always composed using the "Variable Width" setting. To read what I've sent, I have to first click Reply or Forward, then highlight all the text, then change the setting to "Times". In short, the "Variable Width" setting creates an invisible font. This problem did not exist in TB2.
we talked about this this today. dup?
