With the upcoming changes to try server we are looking to do a push-to-try through sendchange.cgi from the web interface. Can we get a try-user account that will only have commit privileges to the try-repo?

That's not really possible currently... the lowest level of Hg account has access to almost every Hg repository except the really important/big ones. :/

Can you push these changes to the try repo (using the web-form?).. for that, all you need is a ldap account.

we can't push to try with just ldap, need an ssh key, so that's why I'm hoping we can set up a "dummy" account with a key that all the web changes can go through, with ldap as well to confirm the originator of the patch but committed to the repo through this try-user account.

Lukas - there isn't a dummy account mode (we don't have that sort of access-level granularity).
Sounds like you need a normal account or whatever you're currently using.
