This might be a Wontfix, since I don't know what we have control over. On RTL locales, there is no way to specify that the installer's progress bar should move RTL, not LTR.

I can file an additional bug with NSIS, if that is the best solution.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; he; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100128 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20100128051129
Looks like this affects NSIS in general

Please search for / file a bug with NSIS and reference the bug number in this bug
Component: Installer → NSIS Installer
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
QA Contact: installer → nsis.installer
I moved this to the toolkit -> NSIS installer component since it affects all Mozilla apps that use NSIS.
I do remember we had recently a strange issue caused because we didn't properly set the window direction (so window decoration will be flipped). I suspect this is a similar issue, and win32 progress bar will appear as described in this bug when the installation window will be set correctly.

CC'ing smontagu, as he may be able to help.
I just filed http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2942698&group_id=22049&atid=373085 with NSIS. I will monitor the bug and post any pertinent updates to this bug.
I haven't had a response since I filed the bug with them, even though the community is still active.

Is there any possibility that we could fix this at our end?
It is possible but I don't know of anyone that has time to do so at the moment.

The stub installer which is the basis for the installer rewrite has solved this problem so adding dependency to the installer rewrite.
Depends on: 651965
Since the stub installer is our primary distribution method and the full installer will get this automatically after it is converted to use the same UI when there is time to rewrite it I am going to wontfix this.
