The text in the Subject field can be highlighted, but not copied to the
clipboard via Ctrl-c shortcut. Using the mouse to initiate the dropdown copy
works as designed.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Highlight the text in the subject of any email.
2.Enter the Ctrl-C keyboard shortcut sequence.
3.Attempt to paste the contents to any text field (ie., notepad, a new message, the search field, etc..)
Actual Results:
Previous clipboard text is pasted. Ie., the clipboard text was not updated.
Expected Results:
New text copied to the clipboard.
Filing with Normal priority since this is also qualifies as a Sec-508 Accessibility bug.

This WFM on mac and on windows. Does it work in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) ?

It works in Safe Mode and in regular mode, but not with Lightning enabled. Moving to Calendar/Lightning accordingly.

I'm not sure the Lightning guys will care much about a bug that *looks* like it's a Thunderbird bug to the users; but it's an annoying bug because you only discover it doesn't work later, when you're "elsewhere", trying to Paste. So ... requesting wanted‑calendar1.0.
