1) Install Firebug 1.5.0, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
2) restart
3) open URL http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/gallery
4) Click on status bar icon for Firebug
5) Mouse over the personas in the gallery and observe the Firebug tool bar

The results vary, but most are unpleasant, eg

 and some are unusable, eg

I was pretty sure we'd seen something like this before, with Firebug. John, your email thread indicated that this was Windows 7 only - is that the case?

Yes, you are correct. I went back and tried the links above and the persona I had been using on WinXP. They all look the same on Win7.

So the reason I thought this was a new bug was simply that I opened Firebug into my default profile when I started on Win7. Then I loaded personas. I don't normally put Personas on my test profiles and I don't normally open firebug in my default profile.

I still think we need a better solution. We either need a way to prevent styles from invading extensions or a way to get decent results by default.  The current result is bush league.

Honza, I think we can close this correct? I think we are reasonably immune to personas now.

Yes, this is fixed.
