Go to the indicated url, click on the link for the RPM, say save file, and
select a filename. The progress dialog pops up, but almost immediately it's
joined by another dialog which says:

Unknown error [1 804B0015]
Being able to download software is dogfood.
Keywords: dogfood, rtm
This is not happening on the branch, so this is not dogfood for netscape engineers.
Marking dogfood-minus.
By the time we get back no the trunk, if this is not dogfood, it should be
re-nominated.

Jar forgot to put rtm- on this (based on his comments.) If you are seeing this
in the branch builds, please update the bug.

I see simmilar behavior on
ftp://setidata.ssl.berkeley.edu/pub/setiathome-3.0.i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1.tar
But the error message is Unknown error [1 80510003]
I'm behind a proxy and using linux trunk nightly 2000101521.
Because it's a ftp URL shouldn't it be filed under some new bug?

Under Linux nightly 2000102221 from trunk I see a little bit different behavior.
On the setiathome address it writes the message on console immediately.
This looks very similar to bug #57868
ftp bugs to component:ftp

Hmmm... I now see a different behavior on the original URL - When I click the
save on the save dialog box it opens the file selection dialog and when I click
to Ok it opens the Saving file box but then it doesn't download anything. It
just stalls. By clicking Cancel the Saving file dialog box closes.
I've forgot to mention I'm now using Linux nightly 2000121821 behind a Squid Proxy.
I've just experienced this error on NT4, SP5, so this isn't a Linux specific issue.
The error occurs when I try to download 3 or more RPMs concurrently from
ftp.mandragon.org !
Could this be a duplicate of bug #53002 ??
I am not seeing the same error, but I am seeing some strange behavior on this
page.

I have fixed this problem. The ftp response codes were being dropped. When you
go to either of the links mentioned in this bug report, you will now see a
dialog which states that the file/directory could not be found. Try for
yourself in tomorrow nightly.
