From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.17-21mdk i686; en-US; m18) Gecko/20001010 BuildID: 2000101015 Does not start download when on an http site and the download is from an ftp, just like rpmfind.net does it. I can go to any page on rpmfind and try to download an rpm file and it will not happen. The most I see from moz is if I "save link as" it gives me a save as, then saving, but no progress; if I left click I get this error from the terminal: Error loading URL ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/Mandrake-devel/cooker/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS/gnorpm-0.95.1-2mdk.i586.rpm: 804b0015 If I right click save link as this is what terminal reports: -*- filepicker: CI: {c47de916-1dd1-11b2-8141-82507fa02b21} -*- filepicker: IID:nsIFilePicker @mozilla.org/js/xpc/ID;1OMWindow id value = {a6cf906b-15b3-11d2-932e-00805f8add32} we don't handle eBorderStyle_close yet... please fix me result native path = /home/myhome/gnorpm-0.95.1.-2mdk.i586.rpm we don't handle eBorderStyle_close yet... please fix me we don't handle eBorderStyle_close yet... please fix me Then an alert came once: Unknown error [1 804B0015] Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to rpmfind.net and try to download any file within mozilla. 2. 3. Actual Results: Just what I described. Expected Results: The file should start downloading and the progress should step through. It appears that people say this bug is already known, and the priority was stepped up back in September, but this bug is still producing the same problem. This will be absolutely unacceptable for mozilla regular use and has prevented me from completely erradicating the old netscape from my system. (although I use ncftpget to work around, this is still very inconvenient and unexpected.)
