IN 4.x and in Mozilla, The user has the option to auto maitcally initiate spell
checker before sending an Email.

In 4.x if you were in the process of spell checking and found something big to
change there you could use the stop button to go back to edit the message
currently you can't do that. There is no way to stop or go back with out sending.

It doesn't hav to be a stop button but there needs to be a way for the user to
change their mind and return to editing with out sending from this point.
Nominating for rtm. The user must be able to stop the spell check

if the Preferences|Mail & Newsgroup|Message Composition option 'Check Spelling
before sending' is checked, then it does an auto send when the 'Close' option is
selected, if the pref is not set, the mail is not sent. This needs to go to mail
team for resolution, reassigning to selmer for triage

mailtriage marking [rtm-]. this is off by default and the user already hit
send. If they didn't have any spelling errors they wouldn't have anyway to stop
the send process either.

This is very disimilar behavior to how mail works in 4.x. I liked and enjoyed
the way it worked in 4.x. It was very intuitive and convenient, guess I'll have
to retrain myself for N6. That being said, I know, we have bigger issues to deal
with in mail.

Workaround: Do not select "Check spelling before sending" in MailNews
preferences, and elect to do a spell check before sending emails.
Relnote: `If, while doing an automatic spell-check of a message before sending,
you decide you do not want to send the message in the form it is written, use
Ctrl+Alt+Del (on Windows), Command+Option+Esc (on Mac OS), or the "kill" command
(on Unix) to quit Netscape. Please note that if you do this, any Navigator,
Composer, Bookmarks, Address Book, or AIM windows you have open will also close.
You will also not be able to continue editing the message, unless you saved it as
a draft.'

Perhaps a slightly less controversial release note? Then again, perhaps not...
