With the inclusion of the Auto-Sync manager it's become even more necessary for users to be able to control the amount of disk space that is used in their Thunderbird accounts. This bug is a placeholder for tracking the work we'll be doing. We've already started gathering requirements from different user groups. And I'll be adding an idea to GS soon on this topic to get some initial feedback. The designs should eventually be put on a wiki page.

Bryan, wiki URL? is this to be substantially different from bug 465568 or is one of them a dup?
