Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100216 Thunderbird/3.0.2

In the preferences dialog of each smart/grouped folder it is possible to (un-)select the folders, which are searched for mails. Changes in this selection are not saved permanently and are lost after restart.

Background: I have one inactive mail account, which I do not want do delete. Since the mailserver does not longer exist, I want to exclude this account from the grouped folders. But unfortunately, as deselection does not work, opening a grouped folder always results in an annoying error message ("Could not connect to the server..."). Also changing the mailserver url to "0" did not help.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open preferences dialog of a grouped folder
2. At "Browse these folders:" click "Choose..."
3. Deselect on of the preselected folders
4. Restart Thunderbird
5. Repeat Steps 1-2
Actual Results:
The manually deselected folder appears selected again.

Expected Results:
The manually deselected folder stay deselected after restart.
tentative plan is to deliver this via bug 507335 in v3.1
