54894 - Message header popup menu needs "Copy address to clipboard" option

In mail/news click on a message to display it in the preview pane. Click on the
sender's email address and a popup menu appears with options "Add Address To
Address Book" & "Send Mail To".

There should be a third option to copy the email address to the clipboard. This
is for the all too common situation where you want to copy and paste an email
address into another window, such as another message that you are already
composing. In 4.x you could select, copy and paste an email address from the
preview pane but not now since there is no selection facility on the message
header section.
