Switching tabs briefly displays background content in the browser's content area.  For instance, I don't have any programs open so when I switch tabs the desktop background is briefly shown in the browser's content area.

Somehow I actually caught this in a screenshot.  Took only about 100 tries.  Sometimes I get some a white screen sometimes it is transparent like in the screenshot.  Right now I'm even getting this behavior when clicking on links that open in the same tab as well as when switching tabs.

only a portion of this image is actually display so click the image enlarge it.  I had to click it four times to enlarge it to it's full size.  Guess this is bug 548967.

I only see this happen when I use the Taskbar Previews or from the select list if you have too many tabs to preview.  Manually switching tabs with ctrl+tab or by directly clicking on the tab does not display the behavior.  I always run with the browser maximized, so perhaps that partly why I don't see the problem. 

When selecting from the Taskbar Previews, the preview image is not full page, which is hinted at in bug: bug 532106

Tested using latest hourly:

What video hardware?

Radeon X1300/X1500, using driver version 8.56.1.15 (last I checked that was the newest driver for this hardware on Win 7).

I wonder if this is related to bug 535212, which I filed way before direct2D landed.
