Using a nightly with D2D enabled, loading a new webpage usually (but not always) causes the content area to appear either see-through or white. This lasts until some action is taken, like changing tabs back and forth, moving the window, resizing the window, and probably a few others. This makes me think that a reflow causes something to be updated, which then displays it correctly. When in this 'mode', the page still loads according to the status bar, and mousing over the page displays the links that are on the page fine and changes the mouse cursor. I haven't been able to figure out why it is sometimes see-through or sometimes white.

Reproducible: Sometimes

The white version is as you expect, and both without scrollbars.
So this isn't an exact duplicate since for me this is not briefly but stays forever until I cause a redraw plus the occasional white, but looking into the other D2D bugs a bit further it seems very likely this, bug 548965, and bug 548987 seem have the same root cause, so that's ok.
