We should release Jetpack SDK 0.1.

This bug is for tracking the overall release. Bugs on discrete release tasks (like writing the blog post announcing the release) and technical issues with the release candidates that prevent us from releasing should be filed as separate bugs and added to the list of bugs on which this one depends.

Myk, I think that all the client-side blockers are fixed now, so we should be able to push another rc.
I pushed a second RC, writing down the process at the same time <>, and Atul announced it on the forum.
I wrote a Python script that posted a message with Markdown source as the text version and rendered HTML as the HTML version because I couldn't figure out how to do that with Thunderbird.

Probably not the most effective use of my time.

I packaged the SDK and pushed it to the distribution server so it's available when we publish the blog post:

Note also bug 550617, which is not a blocker but would be great to have before the release.

As far as I can tell, all release-related tasks have been completed, and the release is in the wild! Thus I'm marking this as resolved. Thanks everyone!

The Add-on SDK is no longer a Mozilla Labs experiment and has become a big enough project to warrant its own Bugzilla product, so the "Add-on SDK" product has been created for it, and I am moving its bugs to that product.

To filter bugmail related to this change, filter on the word "looptid".
