bug 530518 is currently grabbing attention because its top quasi-symboled frame is a generic frame. KERNELBASE.DLL@0xb727 (And really the entire library) needs to be ignored. It'd also be nice to get symbols for it!

Brand new Laptop and love FF and don't want to use IE.....

Actually haven't ha much luck with resloving this issue. have had some tips on clean install. however - i have done this already with no luck.

WTF??? I don't know what i am doing wrong - ......

Can someone please give me baby steps..

This is not a bug about fixing crashes with this signature, sorry. It's a bug about fixing something in our crash reporting infrastructure to give us better information.

It was nominated for 1.6 but didn't appear to be a priority and was dropped from that release.  We can tackle it for 1.8 if it's required soon?

this is related to bug 530518 which has [crashkill][crashkill-blocklist]  and is topcrash ... but Timeless hasn't whiteboarded crashkill here. Perhaps the socorro aspect isn't a priority. (I only questioned here because it's on the wiki "fixed" list.)


my interest is bug 555599 :)  which didn't get picked up because no meeting this week :(

Working through old outstanding skiplist bugs: is this still needed?  I don't see KERNELBASE.DLL in any signatures.

Since I got bug 575817 up and running, we're unlikely to have Windows system libraries without symbols in the topcrash list.
