Firefox is unable to play videos that use Theora and Vorbis codecs that are stored in the Matroska media container instead of the regular Ogg container.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make an MKV that uses Theora Video and Vorbis Audio codecs, using a tool like HandBrake or MKVToolnix.
2. Use the newly created MKV with the <video> tag
Actual Results:
Video doesn't play
Expected Results:
Video should play
