try http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting and if it doesn't help then try to find some steps to reproduce, since I don't see this behavior at my machine; need to be able to have a crash to fix the bug

I get the question if I want to open a pdf file. I don't have that particular plug-in so I can't test it. Do you have the latest plug-in? Please post a crash ID: https://developer.mozilla.org/En/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report
Keywords: crash
Crash occurs on Firefox 3.6.0-3.6.2 with Acrobat plugin 8.1.3.187. Firefox 3.5.8 and Minefield 3.7 Alpha 2 with the same Acrobat plugin do not crash. Acrobat plugin version 9.3.0.148 does not crash. bp-f59bebfb-d60f-42dd-885f-200fa2100326
