I have a blog post ready to go, which I'll push once everything else is ready. It reads:

We're proud to announce the release of Jetpack SDK 0.2, the second in our series of releases of the add-on development platform we're incubating for integration with Firefox.

This version includes a number of bug fixes and improvements to the SDK, especially for Windows users. In particular, it's now easier to run unit tests and see their results on Windows. It does not yet include the high-level APIs we're developing for simplified add-on development, however. Those will begin arriving in future releases.

Get the Jetpack SDK

    * Download the SDK and get started.
    * Read the release notes.
    * If you have questions, check out the Jetpack SDK FAQ and the Jetpack SDK 0.1 blog post.

Participate

    * Visit the Jetpack website.
    * Report a bug.
    * Grab the source code and fix a bug or add a feature.
    * Discuss and debate in the Jetpack discussion forum.
    * Participate in our API design.
    * Chat via IRC in #jetpack on irc.mozilla.org.

The Add-on SDK is no longer a Mozilla Labs experiment and has become a big enough project to warrant its own Bugzilla product, so the "Add-on SDK" product has been created for it, and I am moving its bugs to that product.

To filter bugmail related to this change, filter on the word "looptid".
