Now that system fonts seem to work across platform using CSS2 (use 2-file test
case provided by me in bug 5236), using system fonts solves a number of font
size problems (among others bug 5236, 47059, 16279), therefore enhancing
usability and making users more comfortable with using the Netscape 6 default
skin. It also helps adapt when users set special fonts (e.g. large font on
windows) e.g. for accessibility reasons.
As part of this fix two the toolbar background and the taskbar background need
to be made stretc
...need to made tileable in order to stretch when larger fonts are being used by
the user's system.

This is a huge issue for Linux, and a big issue for Windows. We really want to
see Modern using the system fonts. This will allow for people to get exactly the
fonts they want in the chrome. Marking rtm need info
