User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 When opening a link in a new tab, the old behaviour of Firefix (prior to 3.6.2) caused the new tab to open at the end of the list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Control-click a link Actual Results: Link opens in new tab, beside the current tab. Expected Results: Link opens in new tab, at the end of tab list. This should be a preference. Tools >> Options >> Tabs [ ] Open tabs beside current tab
I definitely agree that this should be an option for the user to change in the GUI, especially since it was a "silent" change that I didn't see announced in the release notes anywhere. You can revert to the old behavior by going to about:config and setting browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent to "false". I wrote about it at http://compiler-error.blogspot.com/2010/03/change-firefox-362-default-tab-ordering.html (In reply to comment #0) > User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) > Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 > Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) > Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 > > When opening a link in a new tab, the old behaviour of Firefix (prior to 3.6.2) > caused the new tab to open at the end of the list. > > > Reproducible: Always > > Steps to Reproduce: > 1.
