User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100227 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.3 For users with using multiple accounts, TB error messages are currently of very limited informational value. For example a typical error message is: "Command not successful. The mail server replied: whatever..." This is really not helpful if the user does not know which server or account is causing the problem. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Error messages should contain more detailed information. If the amount of information has been limited as a result of a user interface design decision, there should at least be a "Details..." button that will lead to a more detailed description of the error.
Duplicate of bug 309121 or MailNews Core bug 66860?
(In reply to comment #1) > Duplicate of bug 309121 or MailNews Core bug 66860? I think so, but for right now I'll just adjust the properties and CC: myself. Reporter, would you examine those bugs and resolve this as one or the other of them?
