User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100317 SeaMonkey/2.0.4 Build Identifier: When I go to the cited Web site, I get an error page containing the following: Processing Failure Your browser is not supported at this time. Browser identifier:mozsea Browser version:1.9.1.9 Browser major version:1 Browser minor version:9.1.9 Browser engine:gecko Browser engine version:20100317 Full user agent string:mozilla/5.0 (windows; u; windows nt 5.1; en-us; rv:1.9.1.9) gecko/20100317 seamonkey/2.0.4 Operating system identifier:win Operating system version:xp Is Flash installed? Yes Flash version:0 Are popups allowed for this site?Yes Newest version of Javascript supported by this browser?1.8 Supported Browsers: name: msie; minimum version: 6.0;maximum version: 9.0 name: firefox; minimum version: 2.0.0.13 name: mozilla; minimum version: 2.0.0.13 name: safari; minimum version: 3.1.12 I do not get this if I spoof Firefox with the following UA string: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100205 SeaMonkey/2.0.3, NOT Firefox/3.5.6 Although Time Warner Cable's logo appears at the top of the page, the problem lies within Convergent Care's Web site. Time Warner apparently outsources its customer service via the Internet to Convergent Care. Reproducible: Always This not the same as bug #342776, which is NOT a case of sniffing for Firefox and which indeed involves a Time Warner Cable domain.
Although owned by Convergent Care, the page is tightly tied Time Warner Cable. Links on the page all go to Time Warner's site. This page is a login for paying Time Warner Cable bills online via PayXpress Bill Pay. I sent an E-mail about this problem to Convergent Care. I could not send an E-mail to Time Warner Cable. The Web-mail page is secure and requires a root certificate for which I might have turned off the trust bits. I don't know if this is the problem with that root certificate; bug #548380 prevents me from determining its identity.
Blocks: geckoisgecko
It appears that Time Warner Cable redesigned its Web site and no longer uses Convergent Care to handle customer service.
