Currently, when viewing view-source tabs, any luck in using Tab Matching in a new tab will query no results.
STR:
1. Open a new tab, view-source:www.yahoo.ca
2. Open a new tab, and query for view-source or yahoo
EX: Existant view-source tab should be matched
AR: No results from query

I think the goal of tab-matches is to only display Switch-to-Tab for tabs with content (ie. tabs with web pages loaded).
In other words, anything that is not represented in Places (history, bookmarks, etc) will not appear in Tab-Matches.

Correct - this is an unfortunate side-effect. Bug 546253 will fix that.
