558961 - Newlines/tab chars in subject field are spaces only in viewing pane; nothing in the list

When there is a message with a subject that has a newline/tab stored, the newline/tab correctly appears as a space in the "subject" field of the viewing pane, but doesn't appear as anything in the mail list (thereby joining words).

Almost all messages from Launchpad Bugs have a newline and tab in the subject and it is evident that the mail list has many missing spaces.

For example, in the viewing pane, the newline and tab (U+000A U+0009) between "boot" and "flag" is converted to a space for display, which is desired. In the mail list, it is just removed, which is undesirable (causing it to appear as "...to set the bootflag on the...".

Oh, Ludovic, you already discovered it in April...
If bug 553280 and/or this bug(bug 558961) for "removal of Tab at thread pane display" were not closed as DUP of old bug with different exernal phenomenon(Tab is shown in U+FFFD because of no font for 0x09), I could reach your discovery in this bug, and long-lived bug 64948, bug 240924, and 271312 could be closed in April...
