spinning off bug 538335
The current pinstipe tabs when using lightweight themes don't look tabbish enough. This is because we don't have a nice element such as the new-tab button in firefox that can spread and fill the rest of the tab area.
OS: Linux → Mac OS X
Mass move to the new theme component.

Is this bug still valid with the Australis tabs?
This is no longer an issue. With the new style tabs it is clear what is a tab and what isn't. Marking as RESOLVED FIXED since this was indirectly corrected by the Australis-tab bug.
