User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.5pre) Gecko/20100416 Lightning/1.0b2pre Lanikai/3.1b2pre For some messages, Thunderbird renders the text with streaky horizontal artifacts, similar to what you might get if the message were being printed out on an inkjet printer. As a minimum condition, the message must extend beyond the message pane and thus be scrollable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Display a message similar to the one attached. 2. 3. Actual Results: A badly rendered message appears. If the Thunderbird window is sent to the background then brought back to the foreground the rendering is fixed. Expected Results: A well rendered message appears. I have been unable to fully determine what characteristics a message must have to to trigger this issue but will attach one that does. It happens to be a multi-part mime message. This issue appeared within the last couple of weeks of nightly builds. A screenshot and sample message is attached.
