It seems there is a hardcoded string ("Filter message by:") in the checked in patch for quick search filtering (Bug 545955). STR: - Type in something in the quick filter input box - Press Enter The string "Filter message by:" comes up with the buttons for sender, recipients, subject and message body.

Yes, it would appear that this string resisted the l10n assimilation of the other strings. Very hardy, it. Thanks for filing this!
