One click on a bookmark in sidebar will attempt to load the URL.
Thus making it impossible to select several bookmarks for management without
generating tons of network traffic (or tons of popup error-messages if modem
isn't connected.)
Left, middle or right-click doesn't seem to matter - everything now triggers a
load. Since the sidebar is the quickest place one can manage bookmarks, and this
scenario caused me data-loss (lost page i was on): severity major.
Expected behaviour:
Double-click to trigger bookmarks in sidebar.
Single-click to only select.
I have a fix for this as soon as pdt give me the ok to check in fix for bug
48465.
Summary of that one is "In sidebar, single right-click opens bookmark"
Definately related, but on linux, ANY one-click'er will load the URL.
one left-click or one middle-click or one right-click - doesn't matter which,
away it runs. This also makes it impossible to select several bookmarks with
ctrl+click btw.

the first line of that bug tells you it's the same exact thing. I marked it as a dupe (instead
of this one) because matt seems to already have a handle on it.

well fun is fun. In installed build 2000101509 linux the "one clicker" bug isn't
active. Not meaning this is fixed - keeping it under observation.
