User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en; rv:1.9.0.19pre) Gecko/2010041600 Camino/2.1a1pre (like Firefox/3.0.19pre) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en; rv:1.9.0.19pre) Gecko/2010041600 Camino/2.1a1pre (like Firefox/3.0.19pre) This has been around a long time, but I just now decided to report it. Maybe no one else noticed it because they all have faster computers than I do: I have a 933MHz PowerPC G4 processor running Tiger 10.4.11. If I type an address in the location bar quickly before auto-complete has time to suggest URLs, then auto-complete comes up anyway. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: It might help to start something else on your computer to dramatically slow down the response time, if you have a fast computer. Type an address in the location bar quickly, before auto-complete has time to suggest a URL to visit, then hit Enter. Actual Results: The page loads, but auto-complete comes up anyway. Expected Results: Auto-complete should not have appeared.

Yeah, this bug seems to be related to computer speed (we have seen it on faster computers in the experimental Gecko 1.9.2 builds, where the underlying history code is apparently slower). As I noted in bug 561695, the patch for bug 548476 should fix this, and I hope we'll be able to get the patch into the nightlies later this week.
