Object tag does not show images any longer

build: 1999042808 platform: win95 expected reults: when selecting the above URI, the gif should be displayed what happened: the gif was not displayed and the broken image symbol was displayed. to reproduce: 1. access Antti Nayha's web site http://www.student.oulu.fi/%7esairwas/object-test/images/ 2. select any of the object element tests and you will note that gif and png images do not render.
I will check fix in as soon as the tree is open.

Unfortunately, this page currently triggers a crash on Mac OS (5.7.99 AM builds), per bug #927. So, I'll verify it when that bug is fixed. Thanks!

Crashes 5.17.99 AM build; so, will check on next working build.
5.19.99 build is DOA --- and I'm going on vacation for a week at the end of the day, so I don't think I'll be able to verify this. [I'll give a quick check with the 5.18.99 build, first.]
