Litmus test 5: HTML composition:
added a link and checked the "attachment soucre". 
Receiving that msg has the attachment "source.html" but it doesn't open, saying the helper app isn't known. 
With Option/Attachment FX is enabled for text/html.
The source of the msg has Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1;  name="source.html"

Oh dear, that was 14 years ago with old versions of FX3 and TB3. Hard to say what was back then.
It's good ... just forget it, close the bug ;)
