(Whiteboard: [tryserver])

Once the trunk-based tryserver is up and running, create a try-1.9.2 repo and configs for a tryserver branch based on 1.9.2.
Are we somehow rejecting push-to-try from non mozilla-central repos in the new world order ?
Depends on: 563824
Probably not, but we can have m-1.9.2 configs for the try-1.9.2 (different platform set than m-c?)
Right - people can push non m-c repos, but they will get built with m-c configs
1.9.2 can run on Tiger so do we want Talos Tiger for this?
Can we make it so "hg push -f try" automatically selects a configuration based on the ancestors of the changeset? Then developers won't have to think about whether to "hg push -f try-1.9.2" or "hg push -f try".
Might be easier to key off browser/config/version.txt or config/milestone.txt. We've already pulled the try repo by the time we pull & copy the mozconfigs.
This isn't something I'm actively working on, there are other tryserver enhancements that are going to take priority for this quarter. Not sure if we even need the second repo. So let's revisit this at the end of the quarter and try to map out what the best way to handle branches of mozilla for try will be.

As I mentioned in bug 520226, one of the things I found very useful about the old web interface was the ability to try on branches. Given the increasing differences between m-c and the 1.9.x branches (in both code and supported/required configurations), it's useful to be able to try patches against the branches.
It's not very often that I have to work on the branches in
cross-platform code. But when I do, it is (or rather was) enormously
useful to be able to use the tryservers.

Not being able to do so means hours wasted doing my own builds on
platforms I don't normally build on.
Over a year has passed since this was filed, making it less and less likely to be something we will put resources towards. People have been managing without a 1.9.2 try for this long, they can continue to do so until that branch is put to bed.
