From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; m18) Gecko/20000929
Netscape6/6.0b3
BuildID: 2000092908
1. in older versions of communicator, if a button had the browser focus,
pressing the space bar would cause the button to be clicked and the button
action to be executed. This feature is not working with the new Preview release
of Communicator.
2. Another problem is that the editor component (the component I am using to
type this out) does not format space bars at the end of lines very well, it
scrolls spaces typed onto the next line. This is a bug that needs to be corrected and
has repeated four times over in this message itself.
3. Other than that, there could be another enhancement in the browser's general
usability if while filling forms, pressing the enter key while filling in
information causes the form being filled to be submitted to the site visited.
4. Auto complete is not working for forms.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Just follow the directions I have indicated in the description.
Actual Results: The same effect repeats itself.
Expected Results: Mozilla should have
1. Caused the button to be clicked
2. Should cause the SUBMIT button on the form to be clicked automatically.
4. I should have received assistance while filling out the form I refilled to
submit bugs.

Space not working on buttons is something I find particularly annoying. I'm
accustomed to using space to hit buttons on dialogs that popup, submitting
forms, etc etc. Sadly, in Mozilla this does not work. I do this instinctively
and then realise after a few moments, nothing is happening, and have to then
reach for the mouse or press enter. Frustrating..

I just received a mail that this bug has been fixed. In which build of Mozilla
has this been fixed?

Verified dupe (particularly since the OS is set to Win98, which is certainly a
Win32 platform).
