I have a POP account that has a @ in it. Even if I enter my password correctly,
I cannot log on to my POP3 server (wrong username or password).
This is a dup of bug 34996, now marked fixed.
There is a way to fix this manually:
Add this line to your user preferences.js (or prefs.js)
user_pref("mail.allow_at_sign_in_user_name", true);
There is bug 53970 filed on the need to make this an easily reachable
preference. ("Make username with "@" work without editing prefs.js file)
