56548 - Setting image witdh as percent inside of table cell causes flashing

I've noticed flashing lines on some sites and decided to narrow this down.  I
have not been able to find any other bugs on this.

If you have an image inside a cell in a table and set the image width in terms
of a percentage (%), the image will flash.  Set it in pixels (without a % sign)
and the image is stable.

Also, while the image is flashing, the progress meter (lower-left) will never
clear indicating the page is done loading.  In fact, usually you can see it
dancing between being full and just a notch away.  Throbber does not "throb",
however.

I will attach a minimized test case.

I commented on it).  maybe we should dupe it against this one since we have a
testcase here.

Another site where image flashing occoures is http://www.slo-tech.com/.
I also noticed that memory usage is increasing while viewing the site (used Task
Manager for that).
I'm using Mozilla 2000120704 on Windows 2000.

It needn't be in a table. See bug 52798. One of these should probably be marked
a duplicate of the other.

Anything new on this bug?
It's still here in Mozilla 2001020704 on Windows 2000 SP1 on PC.
I think bug 52798 is dup of this one, because this one is more general.
But it shouldn't flash anyway.

I agree that they are dups, but bug 52798 is older, has more comments
attached, got several dups and has some keywords, mostfreq among them.
It's also on the mostfreq list at
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/most-frequent-bugs/ .
So I'd rather mark this one as a dup of bug 52798.
