To reproduce:
1. Start Firefox
2. CMD-Click a download
3. a new blank tab is created with no content
Recommendation:
Do not allow no-content windows or tabs to be created

I think this is a dup of bug 346561. Note that Firefox can't tell whether a link will be a download until after it is clicked, so we have to create the tab and then close it when it turns out to be a download.
