Loading the above URL doesn't work in todays mozilla (comercial build with PSM,
WinNT and Linux), this breaks one of the links on www.playboy.com, how could
that happen? I'm sure people are testing that frequently :-)
I've noticed this also today on a couple of different URLs. (non-https)
I'm using latest non-commercial on Linux
Blocks: 61685
I'm not sure if this bug is related but I get the same error (80004005
) when trying to go to https://portal.utdallas.edu

This site uses iPlanet's Portal Server 3.0 FCS
I was told to disable TLS (under security manager->Advanced->options)
since some servers are incompatible with TLS. I tried that and it did not work.
I've seen this on milestone 0.8 on Win2000 for several URLs at Tom's Hardware.
Here are some examples:

Error loading URL http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/01q1/010219/index.html:
80004005
Error loading URL http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/01q1/010219/index.html:
80004005
Error loading URL
http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/01q1/010219/powerbox-01.html: 80004005

Usually, trying again will cause the page to go ahead and load. Can someone out
there confirm this Bug?
Tried the Tom's Hardware addresses and they worked ok.
Using Mozilla 0.8.1.

qa to me.

I've got mozilla 0.8.1 and I'll look at this.
I've seen some problems like this w/ 0.8 at home, but can't get it
reproducible...

While battling some other mailnews bugs, I got the same error. I opened up
Mozilla, clicked the mail icon, and tried to check my messages.

Alert box pops up: "Unknown error: 80004005"

The only thing open in the browser was my personal start page, which has never
caused any problems.
