can't add new Task/Appointment - no window showing up

When I do a ctrl-I (or rightclick in the calender view and add new task) there is no window showing up.
I run Thunderbird/Lightning without admin right. Seems like this causes the problem.
Running it - with a different profile of course - as admin does not show that behavior.
Background information. I have copied the profile from a old computer (XP) to the new one as well. Then I switched the profile directory afterwords.

Please check if your settings in Tools > Options > Lightning > Alarms > Default Alarm are valid and save them again.
It does work now.
The last two entries, where you have to provide a time haven't had a unit (hour/minute...). The field was empty.
