Originally when accessing my google calendars via Lighning / CALDAV, no reminders were synced from Lightning to my google calendars (e. g. "remind me 1 hour before the event starts" in Lightning was not synced to Google Calendar at all).
Then by chance I found out, that setting a "standard reminder" of e. g. "10 Minutes before the event starts" in Google Calendar's WEB INTERFACE surprisingly solved this problem, BUT ONLY FOR THE MAIN CALENDAR "userXYZ@googlemail.com":
This means, in this case the Lightning reminder "1 hour before the event starts" was correctly synced to my MAIN google calendar.
So both Lightning and the MAIN google calendar were showing "1 hour before the event starts".
However this solution does not work for ANOTHER/OWN google calendar (e. g. "BIRTHDAYS"):
i. e. setting a standard reminder of e. g. "10 Minutes before the event starts" in Google Calendar's WEB INTERFACE for "BIRTHDAYS" doesn't solve the problem:
If I create a calendar item in Lightnig for BIRTHDAYS with "remind me 1 hour before the event starts", then in Goolge Calendar's Webinterface this calendar item doesn't show "remind me 1 hour before the event starts", but only the standard reminder "10 minutes before the event starts" (irrespective of what I set in Lightning).
Reproducible: Always

Maybe this Google Bug has something to do with (or is the same ?):
http://code.google.com/p/google-caldav-issues/issues/detail?id=42
Then it wouldn't be a bug in TB, but in Google CalDAV.

Calendar events with reminders which *I* have created are sync'ed correctly by TB + Lightning + Provider_for_Google_Calendar... the reminder data is present. But meeting events created by *other people*, to which I'm invited and I accept, do *not* have reminder data. Even if I go in to Google and manually add the reminder, it still does not get sync'ed in TB etc. I guess that there is different data coding of reminders that depends on how it was created, and the syncing isn't aware of it.
