It's overwhelming to start with dozens of ungrouped tabs. Perhaps we could add some automatic grouping features.
vlad (on irc) suggests: some ways to get started that I can experiment with, like maybe "group by site" or "group by most recently visited" (like stick tabs I haven't touched in over an hour in their own group, tabs < 1hr but > 15 min in their own, and tabs in the last 15 min)
Reproducible: Always

This will take some design work. In particular, the original grouping should probably be caused by an explicit action. If it wasn't, then the user would go to TabCandy (with all tabs being in one tab group) and then not be able to get back to that one-big group. A problem.
Instead, we should have an auto-group button/control on the page (perhaps only available when you first navigate there). Whatever the method of initiating the sort, everything should animate into place.

Or perhaps we should always keep some control like "auto-group ungrouped tabs" so that, even if you have a number of grouped tabs, if you have any free tabs or new tabs in the new tab group, it'll do its magic.
Aza: I'm not sure that not being able to go back to the flat all-free-tabs configuration is a real problem.

As per https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Projects/TabCandy/Design/FirstRun all tabs start off in the same group, we will then have a sort control which will help pivot over a couple different views (TBD).

Do we have a bug for the tbd sort control? If so, we can close this in favor of that.

This would be an excellent feature to do to as a first-run Jetpack.

All the tabs are in one group when user first starts Panorama so mark this as fixed.
