User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it-IT; rv:1.9.3a5pre) Gecko/20100520 Minefield/3.7a5pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it; rv:1.9.2.5pre) Gecko/20100430 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.1b2 While composing a new message, if you use the Tab shortcut to move between the fields (i.e. write recipient address -> Tab -> write subject -> Tab -> ready to write mail content), text formatting options are disabled. This does not happen if you use the mouse to move between fields, only with Tab. Also tried with a clean profile, problem remains. Of course I'm NOT using the setting to write plaintext mails, I use HTML as default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open compose window: cursor is automatically placed on the "To:" field. 2. Write the recipient(s) email address 3. Press Tab to move to the subject field and write o subject (or not) 4. Press Tab again to move to the compose area Actual Results: The cursor blinks, but all text formatting options are disabled. Also "Insert" and "Format" menus are grayed out. Expected Results: The text area should have all the text formatting options available, and "Insert" and "Format" menus should not be grayed out, whatever way the user accesses the text area, i.e. mouse click or Tab shortcut. You can still make appear the unavailable options and the two grayed out menus by clicking on any other field (i.e. one of the "To:" lines, or "subject") and then clicking again in the text area.
I've already noticed that the text area is disabled already when the message compose window is opened. I don't know however if this is the expected behaviour (can't remember what TB 3.0 did)
