When selecting subscribe for a news server, the hierarchy of groups is mostly
sorted correctly (alphabetically) but in long lists there are often a few
entries at the beginning that are out of order.

I don't know about repeatability. It happens everytime for me, even if I delete
the server account and set it up again.
I'm having a hard time doing anything with news since connecting to a server
sends my mozilla-bin from 20 or so MB of memory to 65 MB. Is this typical? (My
server has probably 20K groups.)

eric, the subscribe dialog has some known problems when used against servers
with lots of newsgroups.
