This is a request for enhancement.
Folder size limit exists and is understood.
When archiving this limit can be exceeded more easily than a regular folder. In this case, Thunderbird would issue an error/warning message to the user.
I suggest an option be provided to continue archive operation to an additional folder:
archive -> 2010 -> 2010 (4GB size limit is achieved here)
2010-A (more messages are now moved to here instead of aborting).
I noticed that the user can also choose to do the archive in months. Still, providing additional archive folders would provide an un-interrupted way to continuously archive messages.
Reproducible: Always
