See testcase, it's a flash file that has some actionscript that does an infinite loop of something. In older builds, you would get a dialog that asks you if you want to stop the loop or not from happening. But in the oopp builds, the flash plugin crashes and after that the whole browser has become in a 'hung' state, meaning, you can't click on anything anymore. You can't even send the crash report of the crashed plugin.

Thanks for the regression window, Aravind! But I noticed that is a link from the tracemonkey branch. Didn't you mean mozilla-central?

Ok. There was a merge with mozilla-central in that range. But there were a lot of check-ins with that merge. Perhaps the fix for bug 538918 could have caused this?

FWIW, can't reproduce in debug builds, which is pretty typical of some of these modal dialog hangs.
