User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.16 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0 Safari/533.16 Build Identifier: 3.6.6 Browser preview in Dreamweaver CS5 will launch Safari, but when attempting to launch Firefox, nothing happens. This happens every time with XHTML pages that have a small amount of Javascript, intermittently with HTML pages that have no Javascript. My code passes W3C validation, and displays fine in Firefox when uploaded to my server, so this is not a coding issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an XHTML page. 2. Click "Preview in Browser" button. Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: Open the file in Firefox and bring Firefox window to the front. Mac OS 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard) Dreamweaver CS5 Firefox 3.6.6 All programs up to date as of July 8, 2010

I'm reopening as a CS5 specific bug because CS5 doesn't use the mechanism fixed in "dupe" bug 549680, and that bug does appear to have fixed some people.

Someone running the tests+logging from bug 549680 comment 54 and bug 549680 comment 56 (just for Firefox, Safari, and Camino) is the only way I'll be able to help with this.

Hi Daniel!
It seems this bug is still active. Is there any ongoing investigation about this? Could we close this issue?
Thanks!
